Subaru Outback Subaru Outback Trim levels are revised on the 2007 Subaru Outback wagon. Subaru has added an entry-level 2.5i Basic wagon, and midway through '07, there will be a couple new L.L. Bean models that bundle a navigation system with the base 2.5-liter engine. Further, all Outbacks get MP3/WMA-capable CD stereos and an MP3 player input jack; Limited and L.L. Bean models have SRS WOW technology, which is said to improve the sound quality of compressed-format music. XM Satellite Radio is a new option. Other standard-equipment additions include a tire-pressure monitor (except on the Basic wagon); a new flywheel design to smooth out shifts on manual-transmission models; and on XT Limited models only, the driver-controlled SI-Drive engine program. Subaru Tribeca Subaru Tribeca The 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca crossover SUV is largely unchanged. All models now come pre-wired for XM satellite radio, and there's a new auxiliary jack for connecting portable MP3 players. Additionally B9 Limiteds now have a driver and front-passenger seat memory feature as standard and, as part of the optional navigation system, a rearview camera. Subaru Forester Subaru Forester The 2007 Subaru Forester lineup includes two additional trim levels, the Sports 2.5 X and Sports 2.5 XT, which offer a hip styling motif inside and out. In other news, all Foresters except the base 2.5 X model get an upgraded CD player with MP3, WMA and CD-RW capability. It's also Sirius Satellite Radio-ready and has an auxiliary jack for connecting handheld MP3 players. Additionally, the base 2.5 X gains electronic brakeforce distribution, while the Forester XT Limited gets standard 17-inch wheels. The front door panels in all Subaru Foresters now have bottle holders, and the base engine now meets the PZEV standard in California and the Northeastern states. Subaru Legacy AWD Subaru Legacy AWD Last year's limited-production Legacy spec.B sedan returns to the 2007 Subaru Legacy lineup as a regular production model. For this year's version, Subaru has fitted it with an exclusive six-speed manual transmission (last year's had a five-speed) and a new limited-slip rear differential. In addition, a new turbocharger and various other engine upgrades in spec.B and GT Limited models allow them to meet LEV 2 emissions standards, and the peak horsepower rating is revised to 243. The turbo Legacys also pick up an SI-Drive feature that allows the driver to adjust engine responsiveness, a tire-pressure monitor and new instrumentation. All 2007 Legacys come with an MP3/WMA-capable CD audio system, as well as an input jack for MP3 players. Subaru Impreza Subaru Impreza Subaru Impreza receives a few minor changes. Subaru has revised the content of the Outback Sport Special Edition trim level slightly and introduced a similar Special Edition for the regular Impreza sedan. The high-performance WRX gets a new audio system that now offers MP3/WMA capability and optional satellite radio. Unfortunately, the car's lightweight aluminum front suspension links, introduced last year, have been replaced with more conventional steel pieces. For the WRX STI, there's the new audio system, a revised Torsen-type limited-slip rear differential and a new WRX STI Limited trim level. Other alterations this year include slightly revised engine power ratings and a new, soft-touch steering wheel for all models except the WRX STI.
